Prayer
This is meant as an example, not a rule or expectationO Lord Apollon, Leto's all-glorious son, you who delights the undying Gods with lyre and song. You who makes the Horai (seasons) dance with Harmonia, Hebe and Aphrodite. Mighty are you, O Delian King, who's light-producing eye views all within, and beneath the sky. You, whose locks are gold, whose oracles are sure and precepts pure. I call to you, mighty God of music, poetry, prophecy, healing and disease. Please hear my prayer and accept my offerings to you in gratitude for your warmth, protection and inspiration. Hail to you Lord! May you, Apollo, bless me with your favour.
